Our Mission Statement
The purpose and function of Plains Community Ambulance, Inc. is to promote personal safety and enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Montana and its visitors by providing and supporting professional, competent and compassionate emergency medical services.
Community Comes First
Plains Community Ambulance is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving the Plains area and surrounding communities. For over 35 years, we have provided reliable emergency medical services, including both primary 911 response and inter-facility transports.
In 2025 alone, our team responded to 578 calls for service, reflecting our continued commitment to delivering timely, high-quality care across our rural service area.
Our Service Area
Covering over 1700 square miles, Plains Community Ambulance provides rapid 911 emergency assistance to our home town and outlying communities. Coupled with our inter-facility operating range of over 10k square miles, PCA boasts one of the larger single station ground ambulance service areas in the United States.
